The Optimisation Process

We offer an initial FREE survey to assess the action needed to achieve effective optimisation.

We look at the site overall to see how the keyword content has been incorporated into both the visible content as well as the hidden meta tags used by search engines.

We look at the site map structure and URL naming conventions used for both internal and external links.

We look at the page structures and coding used for compatibility with search engine indexing methods and standards.

The strategy we recommend will depend on a number of factors; how the website in question is currently performing and the extent of the changes needed, the type of website and how it has been structured.

Once we have ensured that the website is correctly constructed to be search engine friendly, there are a number of methods available for increasing both search visibility and popularity which can include; targetted text and image content, RSS Syndicated news in text and multi media content.

On dynamic websites we could recommend using a re-writer to make the url addresses in links more search engine friendly.

Once a plan is agreed action can take place in stages.

We may agree to tackle a section at a time, or on a smaller site we could do everything at once.

The first stage is usually adjusting meta tags, content titles and text etc and after uploading the changes submitting the site to search engines.

Once submitted we have to wait for the site to be crawled by the search engines spiders before we can see the results of the first stage.

From there we can make fine adjustments where needed and re-submit the site, which we would continue to do over a period of a several months.

There could be additional action depending on the plan agreed, for example developing external links and RSS content.
